Questions & Answers Regarding Our FURNISHED APARTMENTS for SHORT TERM LEASE in Cary, Raleigh, Apex, & Morrisville, NC

Our short-term furnished rentals and corporate housing in Cary, Raleigh, and Morrisville, NC are all-inclusive. We pay the expenses, supply furnishings, and provide the bed, bath, and kitchen linens and accessories. Food and clothes are all you need.
 

Q: Are these homes in safe locations that are convenient to food, shopping, and destinations such as the airport and downtown?

A: All of our properties are selected not only for their comfort, functionality, and safety but also for their proximity to popular area destinations. All of our furnished homes have easy access to US 1 and I-40 or HWY 55 and I-540. These thoroughfares provide convenient access to Research Triangle Park (RTP), Raleigh Durham Airport (RDU), area hospitals, and downtown Raleigh, NC. Extended destinations include Duke University in Durham and the manufacturing campuses of Sanford, North Carolina.

Our rental properties are located in safe, quiet neighborhoods near city parks, greenways, and bike/walking trails. All homes are within a few miles of grocery stores, restaurants, and entertainment venues in addition to having short commutes to the recreational amenities of Jordan Lake, Lake Johnson Park, and public golf courses such as Lonnie Poole Golf Course at NC State University and Raleigh Golf Association.
 

Q: What makes your short-term, furnished homes special?

A: At Norton Property Services our homes are furnished, maintained, and managed as if they were our own residences. Our furnishings are hand-selected and company owned. The furniture, linens, and kitchen accessories in each home are meticulously maintained, thoroughly inspected, and cleaned before each move-in. We continually consider the comfort and convenience of each home we outfit and maintain. One example of this commitment is our choice of mattresses that we use in our temporary housing. The majority of our clients comment on the comfort of the beds, and many have inquired as to where we purchase our bedding. A well-rested guest is a happy guest.

After the initial home setup, we also take pride in making adjustments and adding creature comforts during the client's stay. Our property management services have successfully addressed many requests over the years, including room darkening, cribs for grandchildren, patio fencing, and additional freezer storage. This attention to detail and commitment to our guests is all part of our goals and determination to make our client's experience not just temporary, but extraordinary!
 

Q: What is the minimum stay at one of your properties?

A: Most of our homes require a minimum stay of 90 days. There are some cases in which a stay of fewer than 90 days may be available. Please contact us for availability. Because we realize that not everyone requires a three-month stay, we have partnered with Marriott Residence Inn - Raleigh-Cary to provide our customers with an outstanding resource for their shorter-term needs. Q: If my plans change, can I stay longer than my original term?

A: As a tenant of one of our corporate homes, you are able to keep your home for as long as you require. After the original term has expired, the contract will default to a month-to-month agreement at the same rate. We require only 45 days' notice before you depart the property.
 

Q: What is included in the residences?

A: Because a good extended stay or corporate home should feel like a home-away-from-home, our homes are fully furnished and all-inclusive. We provide all utilities, high-speed internet, and cable TV. All of our homes feature full-size kitchen appliances, as well as a washer and dryer. Our homes include kitchen, bed, and bathroom linens/accessories. We even included items that are sometimes overlooked at short-term residences, such as patio furniture, iron/ironing board, and a TV in the master suite.
 

Q: Can we include our pet while staying at one of your furnished homes or corporate residences?

A: Pets are considered with a non-refundable $350 pet fee.

Q: Is there a background or credit check?

A: In most cases, a criminal background check is performed. In some cases, a credit check is required. Employment references can sometimes replace a credit check. The cost for these reports is $50.
